Newsletter 
The IHMC publishes a members-only monthly newsletter in PDF format. The link to the newsletter is emailed monthly to all members. The link is also posted on Yahoo Groups (see below).
If you are a member and do not receive monthly links to the newsletter, please contact our Database Coordinator to ensure we have your correct email address.

IHMC Yahoo Group
The IHMC has a members-only forum on Yahoo groups where members can post questions or comments on parenting, community and other relevant topics. It is a great resource for advice, vendor referrals, childcare recommendations, etc.
New members are sent an email invitation to join the Yahoo Group as well as posting guidelines. If you have not received or have lost your invitation, please contact the Yahoo Group Coordinator.
IHMC Yahoo Group FAQs
1. How do I reply to the sender of a message and not to the entire group?
This depends on your browser. For some, there is a “send email” tab or link which only puts the sender’s name in the “to:” box. For others, it’s not as fast but it’s still possible. Just cut and paste the sender’s email address and put it into the “to:” box when composing your email. It is important that you take these steps because too often emails are sent out to over 400 people when they are meant for only 1.
2. Woops! I accidentally sent a message out to everyone that I meant to just send to the original poster. How can I fix this?
Once a message has been posted, it can only be removed by the group moderator or IHMC Co-Director. Unfortunately you cannot go in and remove your own posts. Use your best judgment on the reply-to-all vs. reply-to-sender option. If you want to buy someone’s item for sale, for instance, email ONLY the original sender. 400+ people don’t need to know this information. If you have an answer to a posted question that would be of use to many moms, then by all means reply to all. Again, you cannot remove posts once they hit the board so do give it an extra moment of attention to be sure that the group is not getting hit with an abundance of unnecessary emails.
3. How do I search the archives?
You can access the archives on our Yahoo Group home page. It’s located at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/IHMCMoms/ or you can go directly to it from your daily digest by clicking on the “visit your group” link. There is a search box that you can use to search through all of the messages ever posted on our Yahoo Group. This is a very useful function.
4. How can I change the settings so I don’t get every email in my Inbox?
Go to the homepage at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/IHMCMoms/ and click on “edit membership” You can choose to receive a Daily Digest of the messages. Having each email delivered to your inbox can be overwhelming.
5. Can I send an invitation out for an event that I’m having?
No. Only invitations for IHMC events are permitted. You cannot send an invitation out via evite or other method that goes to our entire membership. This includes home catalog parties, open house sales, etc.
