New Mommy Meals
This program provides three meals for an IHMC member with a new baby.

  • Any member who wants to participate in the Mommy Meals program should sign up using our online form once the baby is born.
  • Please give us two weeks notice of when you would like your meals delivered, as it does take some time to coordinate everything.

Please remember that all members of the club must provide one meal per fiscal year. You will feel good about helping someone else at a time when you can relate to her chaos! The meal does not have to be homemade, so if you do not cook, it is perfectly acceptable to deliver take-out, have take-out delivered or deliver any ready-made store bought items. If you do not fullfill this obligation, your membership may be terminated.

Babysitting Co-op
The purpose of the Iron Horse Mother’s Club Babysitting Co-op is to exchange babysitting assistance among co-op members.  Mothers participating in the Co-op provide and receive care for child(ren) in exchange for points. Members earn points when watching another mom's child(ren), and spend points when having their own child(ren) watched.  Sits can take place at the other mom's home or your own - it's for you and the other mom to agree on. No money for each sit is involved, making it extremely affordable. Best of all, the co-op holds monthly meetings and weekly park days so you will get to know the families that your child is spending time with.  Each member of the co-op MUST be a current member of Iron Horse Mother’s Club and club dues must be current to be allowed to use the babysitting co-op.  If you are interested in joining the babysitting co-op, and are already an Iron Horse Mother’s Club member, contact one of the co-op coordinators of the babysitting co-op to receive the introduction to the service entitled “10 Steps to Becoming a Member.”
